Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is a systematic methodology that uses tools, training, and the project management discipline to improve performance of any operational process. This LSS Green Belt program is designed to provide a starting point for your LSS initiative that will enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of your academic and non-academic processes. The methodology provides an outline on how the concepts can be applied to Higher Education and the Public School System.
Participants will be given the opportunity to use the concepts of Lean Six Sigma on a project in the institution.
Upon completion of this training module or session, each participant will be able to:
- Explain the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC approach.
- Use basic statistics for process analysis.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma to processes in academic and non-academic areas.
- Discuss how the concepts can demonstrate significant improvement in areas of the institution.
